Every Spring, MEGSA holds an annual photography competition for the campus. Graduate students, undergraduate students, research associates and faculty from all campus departments are encouraged to email submissions. Some examples are shown above in our photo bar, and submissions from prior years are provided in links to the left.

RULES:
1. Photograph submissions must be related to science or technology
2. Photographs must be submitted via email to: megsa.umbc@gmail.com on or before April 8, 2011 at 5 pm
3. Submissions must be accompanied by the following statement:
"I have checked with my advisor/PI, _________________________, that I have the permission to submit the attached photograph(s) in this competition, and give MEGSA the right to publish the photograph(s) on its website and elsewhere."
4. Submissions must contain the following:
a. Title
b. 50-60 word description of the photograph
c. references if photograph has been previously published
d. any due acknowledgements
5. Submissions must meet the following guidelines:
a. Photograph must be taken with camera of minimum 3.0 mega pixel resolution (simulation & computer images are admissible)
b. Pictures must be 5"x7" in size with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi
c. Maximum of 2 photographs per person
